Weekend!

I'm so glad it's finally the weekend! The worst part about weekdays is, because of school, I rarely have enough time for my sculpture :( but now I will have lots of time to create.

My current project is making tiny little clay animals. They're smaller than my dragons, only about an inch tall. I've made two foxes, a raccoon, a red panda, and a gryphon. I haven't had time to bake them all yet, but photos of them will probably be up on my blog sometime this weekend.

Since I want to accompany all my posts with photos, here's a dragon I made about a month ago:

My Dragon Collection

These are all the clay dragons I have created since I started making them in December. It has been really fun! There will be always more to come :) I'm more interested in making little animals at the moment, it's a nice change, but I will probably be back to dragons soon.

It's really exciting having a blog! Already 3 or 4 people have seen it, and its only been a day since I created it. It's nice to have somewhere to put up pictures of just my clay stuff, and yesterday I had a load of fun customizing the background of my blog and such. I will probably post here once a week with all my new art, on either Saturday or Sunday. I might also post during the week if I have anything extra to say. I'll try to accompany all my posts with photos.

Well, thanks for looking! I hope you liked looking at my blog. Please feel free to leave a comment if you find my work interesting :)

Most of these are available in my etsy shop, here's a link: etsy.com/shop/ImagineCrafted

Hello!

Hello people! I'm kind of new to the whole idea of blogging but I'll see where it takes me! My name is Tara Clareira, I'm a young artist who lives in Ontario, Canada. My favourite medium is polymer clay, and my favourite subject is dragons! I'm going to use this blog as a place to share my sculptures.

This little green dragon is a sample of what I will be posting here. He is something I made just recently. He is made from polymer clay and is about 3 inches tall.

I also have an account on deviantart, which is an art-sharing website. If you are interested in seeing more from me, check it out! http://forestglade.deviantart.com/gallery/

I sell my dragon sculptures on my Etsy Shop. If you are at all interested in what I have for sale, please check it out: http://www.etsy.com/shop/imaginecrafted/

Thank you for looking at my blog! Have a nice day :)
